I need to talk to my teammates to coodinate plays but 2,3,4 definitely helps.
A simple "Well Played!" isn't so hard to give. Plus it boosts people's confidence. If the carry is having a hard time just tell him you'll try to get him farm space & try holding of enemy team's push while he farms.
And yes, it's definitely a no to play when you're in some bad mood, hungry or lacking in sleep. It messes up your decision making skills.
I went down 4.5k to 4.4k then up to 4.85k when i decided to just play it calm.
I think I'm stucked here too if I don't get new heroes. Pros in my region keep blocking me from getting 5k.
I can't really remember the last time I played with a Russian on my team. But as far as I can remember, I played twice, 1W/1L. Luckily on my first game with them, I played support. I can't really understood their language to be honest. I just do my job and we won. The second game was a disaster, stack of 3 people screaming and shouting "kamikaze" and then these 3 will go and dive to the tower and eventually they will all die. They were doing this when Skeleton King got his ulti. The stack were composed of Drow, SK and Necrophos as I can remember. They kept on doing this until the game is lost.. It was like hell, but I don't take it seriously.. because it will ruin my mood to play the next game. Sometimes "shit" happens and you just have to deal with it.
4. I know this has something to do with your behavior. Don't play DOTA if you're hungry and bad mood. This will stir up your mind to lose games like its normal. (later you will see that you're not just losing games, you're building a losing streak and then blame Valve.)

you're right.. majority of people won't take them because of their ego's.. now how can you handle this? in order to get rid of these people you should have a very big bottle of patience in you. that's it.. you can't go toe to toe with them because at the end of the day.. you will lose.. OP gives good advice. I had this type of attitude which got me from 2.8 to 3.3. (Yeah, kinda low, but I tried winning with every hero and with Riki it took 9 games. And I like to try Chen and Meepo randomly.)
I think everyone should take a small break after 2 lost games in a row, watch something funny, eat something tasty or just talk to someone. I led lots of games in WoW, both PVP and PVE games, both small groups and 25 men groups, and what I exped there was if after loses/wipes I give them a 10 mins break + a 5 mins video to watch (so extra 5 mins break next to their 10), and they watch and get into a lot better mood, they play better. Its just aboug clearing their minds, anything works. I rly hate it when we are in a stack and someone rage-insta-queues after 2-3 loses and still yellling on skype, ensuring another lose...
In dota, some of my friends like to say "nice penis" in all chat, at any time... instead of "glhf" at start or when the game is already decided, sometimes even this little "joke" makes the difference, someone else follows up and some joking starts, everyone get into a good mood and we have a chance to win. But it can also go backwards if we overdo it and cant concentrate so have to find the balance.

I usually don't blame anyone, and I recriminate the one who is doing this on the team, but there are sometimes that its just impossible. Like a retard intentionally diving a tower before creeps spawn, then when he's mid hp, he goes to "gank" (aka putting himself in the middle of 3 enemies with no allies near).
But yea, another tip i guess would be "play flexible heroes". A hero that can be decent carry if there is no carrier on your team (which i highly doubt but once in a lifetime that happens), a hero that can mid, if no one else does (or if a retard pick a 2nd mid when you already stated you were going there), and a hero that can play offlane (optional). The best example for this is Mirana imo. She can carry if no one else is doing, ofc shes going to get outcarried later, but by that point you should have already won the game. She can go mid, since she benefits from that early levels, and well, she is an offlaner.
Another hero that I like, but it's not that versatile (is typically a support) is CM. She is GREAT early game, you can set up some really really nice ganks, she is not hard to play at all, and have a good impact all over the game. I like to play her a roaming support, so enemies are put under pression and have to play cautiously, which means they will not go for that last hit (if they're melee). You can gank mid lvl 3 with her with high chances of success.
Also, her aura benefits the whole team and even more herself, so you can spam your shit and be really anoying (due to her long range and stuff) on lane, allowing yourself to have a great dmg input early on, and even allow your ally to hit the enemy 2 or 3 times. So, or me, she is great, its the support that suits my playstyle the best.

I don't entirely agree with this. Some people don't understand the game plan and it's helpful to head them in the right direction like "they have a lot of stuns, play safe", "we have tanky heroes, we can be aggressive when we go for kills" etc.
About the roles, I've done the nice guy approach of trying to fill in my team's needs and I win around half the games when I do that. When I pick middle I win way more, call me a bad support or whatever you want but it just seems I can't have a high enough impact with a support hero where I don't have the levels advantage and the farm. I always try to make the life of enemy mid a hell by ganking him if I have a hero with a slow or a stun (if I can leave my carry alone) so that our mid doesn't lose his lane but sometimes it's not enough.

I can see why you would say this but I think it's generally better to tell your carry what item build is better in a certain situation. A lot of times people will just go the build they always do without thinking, that's why when I play carry I ask my team if they are ok with the next big item I'm going for, because you never know when you're just forgetting something that would be better dps/utility/survivability-wise.

Its been a week since I decided to play better (from 4.4k to 4.9k now). I hardly ever get queued vs. pros on 4.4k but since I've changed how I approached the game, my MMR got higher. My recent matches are either queued against/with WinteR, other members of Orange Esports or his friends from other pro teams. Some of my friends say some of the games I'm in appear in like 3-8 page of Live games.
The bad thing tho is the queue time is longer. like 3-6mins per match. And there's ALWAYS someone who picks Earth Spirit. and ES wins most of the time.
So yeah. Don't flame, play calm. Give what the team needs. Eventually, the quality of matches you're involved in will improve.

in every rank there are good and bad players, if u get good players vs bad players of same rank its ez win, if u get good players vs good players its ez win if ur better than ur oppos, if u get bad players vs good players its ez loss even if ur better than 9 others.
I agree. I find that having a calm head (hopefully your team as well), you can win 1 out of 10 games, simply because the other team will implode at each other.

you have a point, but in SEA, most people here doesn't want to talk or shall I say noisy players. So in order to adjust with them, you should sometimes learn to adapt with them. They don't want "bossy" players, it annoys them. So with this kind of setup, you're the one that must adjust because I know some of us here knows the game in a much decent way.
Yah you're right about the item choices of the carries. But sometimes, some of them were annoyed if you dictate on what items to buy. So, in this situation, sometimes I asked them first on what is their preferred item and if it is not a good choice, I offer my advice in a very nice way. They do listen if you show respect but they rage if you dictate on them.

spot on!! I don't play support, but now I review so many support heroes and my best choice is CM. I do have only 1 support hero that I can rely on and that is CM. The quality of game improves when I play support because of better understanding of the game. But as you know, we can't win all games, sometimes my CM got stomped so hard and I can't do anything about it and just moved on..

When you get only stupid people who are feeding you can be patient when I play I want to win if I'm carry and the support doesn't buy wards courier etc...I buy,when I have good early game and I'm roaming I still doing support (and I'm still losing when do all this shit)but with retard people you have no chance to win,I'm tired of lobotomized people,if my team doesn't play well, I feed and finish that's it, don't give a fuck about wins or loses ,how they are feeding I feed too .

And yeah. He seems to be having a bad time but when he stacks w/ SXOCXS & some of his other pro friends, it's a fun watch. They still win games even if he made lots of misplays.
I'm stucked & 4.9k and I think I might've plateaued already. New patch nerfed Visage again and I think it somewhat affected my recent games. I lost games where I could've won it but ROTK spirit graced me so I've thrown some. But yeah, positive positive. Don't grief, try to win.

so an american player with same MMR as european plays badly? i don't get the point... actually, i think its harder to get higher MMR on america, considering that are less players with high MMR. For example, I've seen people playing on south america and getting close to zero points when winning games on local server, but when queuing on US East, even playing with 150+ ping, getting some easy points.
Same logic applies to diference between europe and america server

Im so pissed, getting full mode retards almost every game.
0 map awareness, feeders, afk farmers, fail clashes, leavers, and wtf more. been dropping since day 1 from 4.2k mmr due to not having proper games.

I learned now how to be patient and modest while playing the game I love : DOTA 2
I started with an MMR of 2.8K and now I got 3.9K (impressive huh?)
Here are some of my advice according to my experience :
1. Don't talk if no one is talking. Learn to camouflage. Let them pick what they want and you should be very adjustable/flexible according to their picks (learn to play all kind of roles, I do have 1 support hero and that is CM. I'll definitely choose her just in case there is no support)
2. Learn to appreciate something good in early game. Just type "WP" or "GJ" if your team gets the first blood or 1 of your supports buy wards and courier. That will boost their confidence and trust is being build up.
3. Don't dare to criticize your team mate especially your carries. They will definitely throw the game if you call them stupid or something else. Learn to be patient and good vibes even in worst times.
